Perth City Leadership Forum

Perth Ambassadors is just one of the many important projects overseen by Perth City Leadership Forum (PCLF), a working collective of individuals that works to explore, shape, develop and progress the Perth City Plan. As a group, PCLF collaborates with Perth & Kinross Council on advancing the Perth & Kinross Offer, and in enabling our city and region to maximise the opportunities created by the Tay Cities Deal.

PCLF evolved from the Perth City Development Board, a voluntary body that was instrumental in developing a vision for the growth of the city and how that could be achieved through the public and private sectors working together. Today, it comprises leaders from a diverse range of organisations across the region and is responsible for six working groups and in providing the private partner aspect of Perth Ambassadors.

It is our ambition to see Perth become the most sustainable small city in Europe.

Ensuring strong links across all sectors is crucial if we are to stimulate inward investment and long-term change.

Leadership Forum Partners

Perth City Leadership Forum works closely with other area-wide influencers including Invest in Perth, Perthshire Chamber of Commerce and third sector organisations. Following the 2020/21 covid-19 lockdown the network is also informed by the strategic documentation produced via the Business Taskforce, comprising PKC, Perthshire Chamber of Commerce, Business Gateway, GrowBiz, Federation of Small Businesses, Perthshire Tourism Partnership and Perth Traders Association.

Ensuring that these strong links across all sectors are maintained is crucial if we are to stimulate the inward investment, and long term changes that will carry Perth and the wider area into the future.

Invest In Perth

As a driving force in the area, Invest in Perth is the public-facing brand of Perth & Kinross Council's Economic Development team. This small group of highly effective individuals is focused on ensuring businesses achieve their full potential, and realise their ambitions for growth. Knowledgeable and well-connected, the team offers a single point of contact for investment enquiries to the area, opening the doors that will aid and influence growth.

Perthshire Chamber of Commerce

Perthshire Chamber of Commerce is an independent, voluntary, non-profit making, non-political business membership organisation. Part of a global network and connected to key regional and national decision-makers, its focus is on championing the issues that matter to its members, helping promote and protect the interests of local businesses and the economic future and communities of Perthshire.

Your City Needs You

We seek individuals who demonstrate real commitment to the area and who are passionate about raising Perth's profile as the first choice place to live and work in Scotland and the UK.
