Caroline Haxton

There is never a dull moment here at the farm, and with an additional business running alongside adds even more fun! Our farm is a mixed arable/beef/sheep farm based in Abernethy, Perthshire. Craig is 3rd generation Haxton on the farm, after his Grandad bought it from the Montieth Family in the 1950s. He fell in love with a local lass (Craig's Granny) and moved up from Glasgow, having spent all his summers up here on holiday.

In 2015, Craig and I started Scotia Cabins, which has grown from being a 3 person operation, to one of now 14 people across Europe (my brother helps with some parts from Spain). We initially started with the bbq cabins, to allow everyone in Scotland to have a dry, warm, midgie-free BBQ. This has now progressed to us offering garden rooms, self catering accommodation buildings, and also outdoor classrooms. We are the only company in Scotland to cover all of Scotland, including the islands with this diverse range of products.
As time as moved on, we have added other products (our new smoker grills from the USA are a particular favourite) and we are now looking at how we can add more buildings and structures to our range for our past and future customers.
