Kirsty Easton
Having gained a solid insight into business finances early in her career with Santander Bank, Kirsty joined Economic Development in 2014 as Digital Project Assistant. A promotion to her current role followed and she is now the lead officer for the promotion of a number of high-profile projects in the Perth and Kinross area, including the PKC's role in promoting Perth Ambassadors.
With a focus on attracting inward investment, Kirsty is the first point of contact for Invest in Perth's business to business collateral including the production and UK/European-wide distribution of the Invest in Perth magazine, and the website. (insert link - investinperth.co.uk). She manages external contractors to create targeted marketing campaigns and documentation in line with public-private strategy and key sites of economic interest.
During lockdown she was one of the team responsible for administering £56M of essential grant funding to businesses across Perth and Kinross, as well as taking ownership of the daily, weekly and monthly E-Bulletins delivering vital information to all sectors.
Along with her Invest in Perth colleagues, she represents Perth and Kinross at national level through the Scottish Cities Alliance and Scottish Development International. Kirsty was born and educated in Perth, returning home after 4 years study at Glasgow University where she was awarded an honours degree in 2012.
